Step 1: View the portrait examples contained in the links above. Keep looking until you find five images that you feel you could use as ideas for your introduction portrait.
Step 2: Briefly describe what is happening in these images, and how you will use these as ideas for your partner’s introduction portrait as a comment to THIS POST.
in one of the photos i saw a woman taking a selfie in a different angle which is an idea i could, the second one i saw was a rule of depth photo with a man on the side which is also a good idea. the other three photos were similar because they involved photo shop which is a really awesome idea to make my portrait photo interesting.
In the images. the models are not looking at the camera. I think that is a cool effect on the image. Most of them are holding something in their hands as a prop. I like that idea because it gives you a good idea of what that person likes.
Spinning bicyclist: This photo is cool cause you can see the man perfectly but it looks like the world is spinning really fast behind him.
Three clones (black and white): In this photo the photographer used photo shop to combined all of his photos together and made a cloning effect.
Skate boarding guy: in this photo since the guy is doing something fast the photographer upped the shutter speed to get a still photo.
8 clone girls: This photo is cool similar to the three clones but instead there are 8 of the same girl in different positions.
City girl: on photoshop they made the city into a mask on the girl then turned down the opacity.
I really like most of the black and white photos and the panorama photos. Most of the photos are interesting and show people who are serious and acting professional. The panorama has a person in the center of a circle which is created by nature and the person has a camera taking picture which to me tells me he likes taking photos of nature
1. In this photo. the girl is looking at the camera with her hair all over her face. She’s looking straight at the camera. The eye contact is something that I could use as an idea for the portrait we are shooting.
2. In this photo, the girl is standing in the middle of a bush of flowers. The color of the flowers coordinate with the color of her lipstick. For my portrait I can use similar colors in different areas of the portrait.
3. In this photo, a biker is taking a picture of himself. He is the only thing in focus in this photo. That could also be an idea to use in a portrait.
4. In this photo, the man is reading a book while holding an umbrella. Rain is visible. The lighting is something I could use as an idea.
5. In this photo, a man is standing surrounded by flying chairs. In my portrait, I could have flying/hovering objects around the subject that relate to the person in the portrait.
The first photo shows a woman going somewhere but very reluctant to go on. I could do something similar to create emotional tension.
The second photo shows a soldier in the jungle. It is very confrontational and direct, and also very solemn. I could do something similarly straightforward.
The third has not only the person in his environment, but shows it in a reflection, creating additional framing.
The fourth shows a face buried by leaves. This leaves the bare essential of a portrait leaving the rest to create framing and expression.
The fourth shows a person in a surreal dance-like stance that creates a strong sense of atmosphere and shows the person in their environment.
In the photos. all the models aren’t looking at the camera. Its interesting, Most of them are holding a prop. I think that’s cool because it could show off something that they like so you could get more of a personal background on them.
One of the portraits that I liked is when the woman is lying down and you can see the outer object out of focus but still focused on their face. Another that I liked is the color that was involved; it was a black a white photo of a man but with a paint brushed that swiped his face and showed color. The third photo that I liked is when the girl is leaning back with the chair and lights/insects are pouring out. Second to last photo involves light with color in the northern range of the world; color brings out the sky. Last picture that inspired me was a man standing in the middle of smoke but his face is blurred within the smoke and you can only see his glasses within the picture.
These were very intriguing pictures. They conveyed, wonder, imagination, dream, lonesome, power, confident, worry, etc. Im gonna use the shot of my person looking away from the camera, maybe play with black/white, and the out of focus shot .
In some of the photos I saw people not even looking at the camera and I think it gives the photo a sense of mystery to it. I also like how the people in the pictures are using props. it gives you a sense of what you like.
The 35th photo is my first pick because it’s my favorite, I love how it shows reflection and more than one perspective, also the colors are more vibrant and positive.
The 42nd photo is also great because it’s dramatic. It has a darker theme than the first photo and the colors are deeper and very dark to go with the theme.
The 3rd photo is really cool because the dress is a very bright color and it really catches your attention and it inspires me to use more bright colors in my future photos
The 6th photo is awesome because it has an action shot of a whole bunch of papers flying everywhere around the subject.
the 9th photo also has the woman with the bright dress and this time shes in a more darker environment like the 42nd photo. its really nice because a bright and darker color are in the same place.
i like them all. theyre really different and i like it. they use different perspectives
1st. In one of the photos the person is looking away from the camera.
2nd. in another photo i see the person holding an object.
3rd. in one photo there is a old man holding a picture of himself like when he was like 20 or 30.
4th. in another photo they toke a picture of the person without them realizing it.
5th in a photo there is a person jumping in midair.
I think if you give the person your photographing having them looking not at the camera and somewhere else puts some little story in the photo that the viewers might be wonder what they are looking at
The photos I viewed have lots of emotions. Their are some photos that make you wonder, have mysterious looks, and unique. Their is one photo with a lady holding an umbrella that’s on fire. I will use something a little bit different but have almost the same idea of the photo
1-Picture with a man and floating chairs in a big green field, dressed with a hipster style.
2-A guy sitting on a bench staring at the stars. (quite a picture)
3′-Pilot. Literally a pilot taking a selfie.
4-a guy fighting himself with the power of light!!!!
5-The guys smoking
Everything is dark, except for smoke and the shape of the guy, which is full with blue and red lights.
The first one I found was a floating woman that has a hooded figure behind her(looks like they are doing magic), it is very game like and I would like to create a game aspect in the photo. The second one is a woman with a wheel also very game-like. The third is a little girl on a bed in the woods, I like it because it is very Alice In Wonderland, and is again very game-like which I can incorporate in the portrait. The fourth is the colorful lady sitting on a stack of wood, game-like and games is the subject. The last one is a girl trying to catch jelly fish, also very game-like, I would like to make the portrait gaming inspired.
1 the kid in all black but when he blows out smoke it seems like thats when the colors appear and i could use that same concept to represent how my partner does things to blow off steam.
2 i like the one with lots of the same girl doing activities this can show my partners interest in other things
I noticed that in these images a lot of the people in the photo are caught off guard and i think it adds a totally different story to every single photo.
In the images above, the people are not looking at the camera. That is a good effect on the picture. Most of them are holding a prop. I love that idea because it gives you a good impression of what that person likes.
i liked the one with the unbrela on fire how it looks is nice and creative and looks fun to do and would like to make this
A lot of these pictures look like they have special affects of some kind and at least a prop or 2. i think the angle the pictures taken has a big affect on how the picture turns out, so ill work on that.
1st – A man was holding a paint brush to his face and it show a different color on his face where the paint brush had been. i like the idea of changing the contrast to imply more meaning looks interesting to me.
2nd – The man on a motorcycle and the background is a blur. to me this shows that he likes to go fast.
3rd – A girl with a basic white background and a city picture placed inside her body making the city a part of her. i can use something like this to show what my partners interest are.
4th – The landscape of the beach and on the rock it show the shadow of the photographer.
5th – the teenagers in the room doing something they love.
1. Photo with a red hair lady lying on the sand and she’s grabbing something that looks like she’s grabbing the water which makes it look realistic.
2. The pilot taking a selfie while flying.
3. Photo of a man with his other clone playing with the lightning effects. I could use this as an idea for my portrait.
4. Black and white photo with a man reading his book while holding his umbrella. I could also use this as an idea for my portrait.
5. Photo with a city and a lady that are blended in together as one. I think this photo is really cool and would be nice to try. I could use this as an idea for my portrait.
