You combine two arts and two amazing things to make one. You could add different elements and make the image more interesting. I get the idea of bringing out the other artistic side of me and trying something new.
When illustration meets photography, you can add things to the photo that weren’t previously there. The easiest way we (the people of this class) can do stuff like this is with the graphic tablets, drawing on those to almost literally draw on the photos. One idea I have is to take a photo of a person and draw on visual representations of their background or personality, which I’m sure is a metaphor in and of itself.
By adding illustration to photography it makes the image more interesting because the drawings are so precise but they also look like doodles which gives it a fun mood. I could add illustrations to the background or on the subject in my own work.
