  1. He included some important techniques we use such as contrast, exposure, form of objects and more. I learned that oblique angles are slanted to create tension or suggest movement. Photos can tell stories and often tell what’s going on or whats happening.

Photography relates to storytelling because it has a message. I will pay more attention to the background after seeing this infograph.

  3. This has a lot to do with lighting and subjects, as well as framing and where things are in the frame, all of which are used commonly in photography. From this, I learned how to make subjects have more of what I want out of them based off of where they go in the frame, as well as other ways to say things by using composition. It has to do with storytelling in that you can say things with composition and leave things to the imagination to tell a story, and filmmaking in that it involves cameras and mise en scene principles.

  5. Capturing a lot of angles when you’re taking a picture; either starting up close or far away. Focusing on all of the details instead of rushing through pictures to find the right one. It relates to story telling because it applies all of the aspects that you need to produce a great photo.

    Lighting, camera angles, color, contrast, framing, and depth of field. Having new ideas to take pictures in new angles. I think they give you more emotions and feeling.

  7. The aspects of today’s warm up that tie into photography are the depth, placement, size, framing, almost all of it applies to photography actually. All these art forms are very similar in many ways and can learn a lot of things from one another.

  13. Organizing props in the order that you want someone to see, apply to photography. The new insight into camera angles, composition I gained from this tutorial is that it matters what angle you have the photo when you want a certain mood. Photography relates to storytelling and film-making, because in film-making its just millions of photos linked together, and in storytelling you want the person to imagine what your talking about. I will likely focus on what angle my view is and how to change it.

  15. I think all of the aspects can apply to photography. i learned that taking low angle images exaggerate the image. photography relates to story telling in the way that every image has a story behind it. and I’m going to pay attention to the angles of my pictures now.

  16. It seems that a lot of the techniques used in it have to do with lighting and framework. Some new things that I learned from this tutorial would have to be number three and when it talks about shot plus camera proximities, that is something I’m really going to need to take a better look at when I take photos and when I am looking at them as well.
