  1. By using glass and water with the subjects face pressed up against the glass. I get the feeling like I’m in a small space and that I’m trapped. Like I have nowhere to go. I think the photographer is trying to say everyone has their dark side and something we always carry with us good or bad and that it will always be there. I get the idea of playing with glass and seeing what emotions I can bring out.

What is the photographer trying to say with these photos? that maybe she is trapped by something she likes . What ideas do you get for your own work? to take photos from a different perspective like under a table.

  3. He created a “trapped” feeling by making the subject literally tapped. In this case, it is glass, but she is supposed to look like she is dying to live cry out she’s trapped under ice. The primary mood is of course depression, though it isn’t obvious. There is a hopeless feeling, in that she has no hope of breaking free, but the photos are an amazing metaphor for depression. She is drowning in depression, and is trapped under ice in that she can’t break free, and she is loosing hope. For my own work, this makes me want to try and portray depression, and also try out something with glass.

  4. It looks like the photographer had the subjects under a piece of glass and photographed from above the glass. They make the pictures have a sad emotion. These are great photographs and they give me some good ideas for my own photographs. I could use more props or objects to make it seem like the subject is feeling some type of emotion.

    Her decisions are trapping her from the little things in life that mean so much.

  7. With a lot of Photoshop and it was creative so it must of had a lot of work
    A lot of curiosity like how did they came up with that and how were they able to pull it off, and how they did it.Maybe there is some things that are trapped in an image. The person is drowning in some type of depression or emotion. Its trapped in within her. Wanna try something that has to do with emotion and how to put it into a picture so its clear on what the emotion is.

The moods or emotions that come across to me after looking at these photos are sadness and curiosity. The photographer is trying to say with these photos that lucid dreaming can be scary. I really like the tank feel these photos give off.

    he put faces in them and also put some “blood” to make it look more mysterious.

    The person was in a small area in which they couldn’t get out of. The mood is creepy to me. He wants the image to look depressing and being trapped

    the mood was as if i were tapped in a small place.

  14. i think by pressing her face and her lips up against another piece of glass. the water under her lips and nose kind of created a trapped feeling, or brought it out. it kinda has a darker mood because being trapped is usually a bad thing. i think that’s what the authors trying to show.

    These were kind of disturbing. It was cool how you werent actually sure whether they were paintings or real. Im not sure what hes saying but i like the idea of using this technique

  19. The images give us the feeling of being trapped because he is literally trapping his subjects in the photos. The primary mood that I got out of these images would be depression.
