  1. They fit into a photo series because they all share a common theme. They all have so many things piled in one photo. I think Laurant was trying to tell his viewers that when you have so many of the same things it gets old and not fun anymore. Judging by the guy with so many shoes he doesn’t seem happy and if i had that many shoes i would be smiling so big. In these photos i get the emotions that the people are either annoyed or sad. I also feel like the people in these photos are use to the items and act like it’s normal to them, to have that many of one item. I get the idea of playing with proportion and use my shoe collection in photos.

  2. They all have a similar theme. For my images I can things on top of each other. Or add something different to take the focus off of the person and to whats around instead

  6. They all fit because they are unified thematically and they all have something in the photo that is spewing out due to overabundance and a person looking at it disappointed. The theme behind it is that we tend to have too much of something that we don’t really need, or that we do need it and are unable to contain it (which would be what he is trying to say with these). These photos are a little whimsical but kinda scary when you think about what they mean. For my own work, I want to try and tell some kind of societal message.
