The moods and emotions that have came with these photos would be dark and peaceful. Some ideas that i could use from these photos would be to take pictures in good environments with good views.
These images are compelling because they capture everyday life, and feel more natural and living. Most symbols he plays with are either signs or cars. The signs usually show what the subject is supposed to be, and the cars show how alive or dead the photo is. The mood in these photos is very spontaneous and candid, and not really heavy. These photos make me want to do street photography, and try and tell a story with it or try and portray the passage of time.
He brings out the beauty in the not so good looking houses but the images still look great. When I look at these images it makes me think of where I’m from and how everything isn’t always picture perfect but it’s worth the picture still. Things aren’t always great or beautiful but you can always make it look great beautiful.

He doesn’t take pictures of what people would usually take pictures of like fancy buildings and objects. Instead he focuses on more simple stuff and sometimes even old and rundown. The mood of these images is peaceful. I get the idea to take pictures of contrasting objects in my own work.

he takes not your typical photographer he takes pictures of stuff you don’t see in every day photographs in most of his photos there’s a lot of things that have symmetry and his pictures are very calming and soft you could say

the angles and direction of focus it gives. i seen a lot of lines, and my eyes were always drawn to a certain part of the image, i got the feeling some of these images were simple, but they were all cool. it gives me the idea to not over think things.
One reason these images are so compelling is because of the colors that are found and because of when they were taken. Joust seems to show two different things in his images like the colored house with the huge house in the background. When I look at these images they give me a little bit of a weird feeling, not really a bad feeling, just kind of a gloomy feeling.
