The images show the raw power of nature and how dangerously beautiful it can be. The images are well balanced and show both sky and land. The clouds are smooth around the edges. I get the idea of balance and I could probably use a black and white filter.
As for mood, I get a sense of impending doom. The scale and proportion makes normally large things (like fields) seem small compared to the massive size of the storm clouds, making it even more ominous. Since the images are in black in white, the photos give off a kind of gloomy mood because of the storms that are happening. In a lot of the photos, the clouds seem to be completely smooth but in others, they are kind of rocky looking. The clouds are a big part of the picture, if all you look at is the ground and bottom half of the photo then you won’t get the full image or the full meaning of what the images are saying. Black and white images tend to give off a more ominous mood which is good to have in your photos where you don’t want it to be a happy and up beat photo.
