How does the photographer change the subject enough to keep the photos interesting through several different versions of these bottled landscapes? by changing the weather in some of the bottles. there is also different settings like a path, trees, houses, and streams. What ideas do you get after looking at these photos? that i could use double exposure methods to show my metaphors in my photos.

  2. He is capturing the nature he grew up in and has it “bottled up.” Each one is interesting in its own way and shows a new adventure in each photo. Reminds me of some of my old childhood memories in nature. I get the idea of going back to some old places I use to live around and somehow recreate it.

  3. By putting the countryside in bottles, the idea is that the beauty in nature is the smaller little pockets, if that makes sense. Variety is important for this series, and he achieves this. By using different jars, that is a subtle way to having variety. He also uses a number of different settings. Some with snow, one with a house, some with hills, some with a bunch of trees and one with a creek. After looking at these photos, I’m encouraged to find creative twists on ways to do nature photography.

  11. I think it captures what his childhood was during Finland. He shows each environment in their own bottle and it has its own adventure to take upon of. For my own photos, it makes me want to go into deeper detail with photos.

    He uses the jars to put his childhood memories in when he lived in Finland. He uses different types of photos of nature in the jars. the ideas I get for this is being more creative in my photos

  21. I feel like the metaphor the photographer is trying to use here is him saying that we need to preserve nature and “put it in a jar” for safe keeping. He kept the images interesting by changing the subject, butting a house with trees around it and different shots from forests. This is a really cool and unique idea and i really like it. It makes me think of doing more double exposures.
