  1. I feel like everything is just so calming and makes me feel like I’m actually there and going on a walk or something. The shadow and contrast play a big part in these images because a lot of the things in these images are dark shady colors which makes the images look the way it does.

    The mood I get from these photos is rather unique. I get a feeling that this place is very desolate and untouched by humanity. It is monolithic and imposing and totally bigger than me. This comes from the heavy use of contrast and shadows, along with the lack of color. The use of contrast makes the birds and other things engulfed in shadow stand out more, and the lack of color makes the whole thing feel so imposing.
