  1. The common visual element that ties the photos together is the single person in each, oftentimes a near-silhouette. The differences are how silhouette-y they are, what they are doing, distance as well as the environment they are in. The journey that the viewer goes on is very cerebral and self-reflective. For my own work, I want to try and do something similar with a person interacting with their environment in some way to explore similar emotional themes.

  3. The photographer makes a good effect of being alone, kinda makes it seem like an Apocalypse happened and that person is the last one on earth. All the pictures make it seem like they crossed the globe in search for a person they couldn’t find.

  4. In each image the subjects are centered and change setting in each image. The size of the subject also changes. Sometimes it’s some what big or little. In each image it shows the subject moving from setting to setting and each setting is different. I get the idea of going on an adventure and capturing the journey.

  5. Each image has a similar color scheme and has a person in it. As we look through the photos the person in the image is in a different situation and position but usually in the middle. It gives me the idea to use similar colors in all of my images in a series and show a journey through them.

    There’s always a person in the photo with a lot of lines and different landscapes. The viewer focuses on the person at first and then the landscape. I think I could add leading lines in my photos.

  9. These photos are making a really cool effect, almost like the photographer intended to make the person or subject so small and make the earth seem so big. They change through by changing the size of the subject and the angles they’re shot at.

  11. Each picture contains someone walking, almost the exact same color as well. Throughout the photos, it has their own style to it. Like the lighting, and editing, also the buildings/areas that they’re in. For my own work, I want to include the same idea/object but have different types of editing and background in the photos.

I like how the portraits are of the people but you can’t see their faces nor race.

    Each image has a point of interest which is shown by all the people in each photo and how it centers to them. Each person in the photos are either positioned in a certain place, or doing a specific activity. The viewer sees something different in each photo with a different landscape. I am thinking of doing a photo of a certain landscape with one person far away.

  16. What visual element does the viewer follow through each image? The color schemes for each photo are different, the images also have leading lines everywhere, and they really really get the viewers attention.
    How does this change as we look through all of the photos? Each photo has a different color scheme and different location.

    What ideas do you get for your own work after viewing these images as far as following one visual element? For my own work, I want to try and do something similar with the person levitating but in the forest or open field.

    -As I look through I can tell that each person is in a different view from different angles.

  21. i could almost apply myself to the situation or pretend I’m there taking the picture. i think this works because they all have familiar landscapes, and as the landscape changes so does my perspective. the changing landscapes also helps with this kinda journey because you Can put yourself in a bunch of different places, this gives me the idea to use big space and a small subject
