  1. Maybe he used like an old film thing that you point at a screen and it shows images or movies. Looking at the people in the images they look native american and I know native americans love nature and mother earth so in my opinion it looks like they are protecting the trees. I get the idea of trying to make a point on something and let people know what’s going on in the world. So stuff people don’t know about and should.

  2. He took a picture of a persons face. Then he screened onto the trees in the jungle. As that was happening he then took a picture making it look like the trees or rocks had a face on them.

  3. Echaroux made these images by projecting the faces of indigenous Brazilians onto the forest’s trees. He was showing the connection between the rainforest and its inhabitants, acknowledging the need for the preservation of their home and resources. I get the idea to connect the background to the main subject to tell a story or a message.

  4. He took a a image of a person and then projected them onto a tree and then uses a long shutter speed to capture all the light. hes the Lorax hes the protector of the trees for the tripe who’s trees were being cut down. It shows me i should put meaning into the images i take

  5. This could have been done by using a projector to reflect another image and then take the overall image. I think they are showing how they feel about nature. I can add an object that shows how the person.

  6. I believe that he took a photo of a member of the tribe, and got a projector and physically projected that photo onto a tree, and took a photo of that. He’s trying to say that the tribes people rely on the Amazon and they are a part of the Amazon. Deforestation is hurting them. This makes me want to find interesting ways to incorporate photos into other photos.

  7. It looks like he photoshopped peoples faces onto trees with a double exposure type of look and its really interesting. He’s trying to make nature have more emotion and seem more realistic. This gives me the idea to try and add more emotion into my pictures.

  8. How did Echaroux make these images?
    No clue
What was he trying to say with these images?
    Indians are attached to nature
What ideas do you get for your own work?
    none

  9. Echaroux made these images by projecting images into the foliage of the Amazon forest, then photographing it. With these images he trying to say that the people of Brazil are deeply connected to the forest. I really love the way the trees break up the face so your mind has to make up the rest, this wold be cool to do this in the fields of Vancouver that are slowly becoming housing developments.

  10. How did Echaroux make these images? looks like he used double exposure to put someone else faces on the trees.
What was he trying to say with these images? Trying to say trees have feelings too and people should think about nature before they destroy it.
What ideas do you get for your own work? Take pics of trees.

  11. maybe by putting more than one image together, or a projector. but i don’t think a projectors image on trees would be that clear though. hes trying to say that the people and the rain forest are one, it needs to be protected. it gives me the idea to place faces on nature

  12. How did Echaroux make these images? What was he trying to say with these images? What ideas do you get for your own work?

He used Photoshop. He uses faces on trees

  13. One way he could have done this was to take a picture of the people then physically project them onto the tree then taking the image again with the face on the tree. I think what he is trying to say that the tribe is really connected with nature and. This makes me want to try and incorporate an object that represents that person.
