  1. He saw what the shape looked like and then drew what he saw from the shadow. It shows him taking a regular everyday object and turning it into something more than one item by using two art forms, photography and drawing. I could take photos of an object and see what more it can be and get the idea of being more creative.

  2. I think that Bal created a shadow and then drew the remaining parts of the object that it created. This demonstrates creative problem because they will never run out of subjects and it makes each image very unique. I could incorporate either drawings or shadows into my own work.

  3. Bal carefully positioned the objects so they made sense within the context of the illustration. This is a very good demonstration of creative problem solving. Rather than drawing out complex things, he just took random objects and used them to fill in the gaps. One thing I could do that is similar to this is photograph tiny scenes, with everyday objects appearing to be large. I have actually done something similar to this before.

  4. In order to get the shadows to take those specific shapes, Bal had to make the sunlight come in at a certain time then move his pictures and the objects so the sun was casting the shadow directly on the object. By doing this, he is adding more depth to his image and adds more creativity to them. Something that I could do would be to use the sunlight as my only light source so I could get a more defined shadow of the object I decide to use.

  5. By placing an object with a cool shadow he lets it cast and then will draw over the shadow to make it look like a picture. I think you need to have a lot of imagination to do this, but it inspires me a lot. Doing something like this would be pretty cool. Just have to find the right object.

  6. They were able to find shapes that were able to finish up the shape of the drawing. This shows how he was able to can make any image with even if it has some parts missing. I can add shadows to add more shapes to images.
